"I think I can. I think I can. I think I can." -The Little Engine That Could

“Heaven knows we need never be ashamed of our tears, for they are rain upon the blinding dust of earth, overlying our hard hearts. I was better after I had cried, than before–more sorry, more aware of my own ingratitude, more gentle.”

— Charles Dickens

We all can’t be happy all the time. And those of us who pretend to be are doing ourselves a disservice. Please, when you need to feel sadness, FEEL it. I have spoken before about getting over something rather than getting through it. Allow yourself to be healed by your tears. Give yourself a break.

Grab a pint of ice cream and feel what you need to. Have Kleenex sign you to an endorsement.

Be aware of all that you are, and be genuine in every moment of your life.
